Criminal Defence 

Richard Forbes first entered the courtroom as a law student volunteering for student legal services in Calgary. Since then he has represented clients in the Court of Justice (Provincial Court) and the Court of King's Bench. He conducts trials in front of judge or jury and is experienced with the pre-trial applications required to ensure evidence is admitted lawfully. 

He assists his clients from the pre-charge stage through sentencing including bail hearings and reviews. ​
